Fall colors, crisp cool air, and a huge family… what a beautiful wedding this ended up being. The wonderful couple gathered all their closest friends and relatives on the family farm to share in their special day. With the family list being in the several hundred, a large outdoor tent was needed in addition to the existing shed. Our goal was to light both spaces with enough light to see and enjoy the party, without using any “standard” lights. We decided to span the tent with our bistro style lights and provide a few color flood lights behind the head table. We also went along the sides of the tent in a similar fashion. All this allowed for just the right amount of light during dinner that guests could easily see and interact with each other. No large, intense floodlights needed to shine down from above. From there, we took to the shed with a more decorative plan of using lights and tulle suspended from the ceiling. Getting creative with the use of white and color tulle, along with all our lights, we were able to create a well-lit dance area for the remainder of the night.
