This landscape lighting project was for a client that we originally met through our holiday lighting services. Located in Verona, WI, our client was considering selling the home but first wanted to update the low voltage landscape lights for potential buyers. With our initial consultation, we found an outdated system with lights that had been in use since the original construction. Although old, the display was still partially working, but utilized halogen lamps for every uplight and spread light. The project focus then…. update to LED lamps and replace all the uplights, while adding an additional light to create balance throughout the display.
In the original plan, we had proposed to tear out the old landscape lighting cable and trench in new cable for the front of the home. However, upon further investigation on the installation date, we realized that all the existing wiring was able to stay, saving our client some money in the process. In this original display, there were several spread lights around the pool area in our client’s backyard. With the fixtures in great working order, all we needed to do was upgrade to LED lamps.
At the end of the project, our client has a fully updated display that now utilizes LED technology, making her home look even better at night for prospective buyers. And with all new brass, Kichler uplights, this display is sure to last a long time for the lucky new homeowner.
